Steve Alexander and Sal Gulino invented “thePocean” (pronounced “The Potion”) after a long day of hitting the beach. The purpose of this website was to serve their local surfing community in the Gulf Coast area of Florida, with relevant information consisting of weather, surfing news, and reports.

Steve and Sal planned on monetizing the site by showing related products from the Amazon marketplace in addition to selling their own line of thePocean brand clothing and apparel. Another great feature of the website that showed tremendous attention to detail was the Florida map – serving links to surf reports and additional information to Florida surfers based on their locality.

This web design project was developed on the WordPress platform so that Steve and Sal could easily add photos and other updates in the future.

  • WordPress based design
  • Integrated and easy to manage photo gallery
  • Built-in Amazon marketplace portal with targeted offers
  • Built-in shopping cart to sell in-house clothing and apparel

ProfromGo was not only easy to work with but blew away our expectations on what we hoped for when we came up with idea. Quick turn around on our site and great customer service.

We also employ ProfromGo to help in our daily maintenance and hosting of our site which has made our jobs easier.

All we have to do is focus on updating our site and getting visitors. Couldn’t image it being any easier. Great Work.

Thanks again

thePoceanJust wanted to thank you for the great work on the site, and extend an extra bit of appreciation for the special attention on this project. No doubt it turned out to be more than you bargained for… But in the end we are very happy with the the product and are also glad to be able to employ you for some of our other business needs. Again, it looks awesome! Really, we’re ecstatic with how it turned out.

Sincerely,

-Sal G.
