The process of creating your own product is fun and rewarding. Creating a unique digital product helps you establish yourself as an expert in your field or niche. Andrew Bourland was a well known marketer and the founder of “Clickbank University” (CBU), which is no longer online. Andrew was very knowledgeable as an affiliate marketer and internet marketer who lived to help others.
Andrew was the first and only marketer I ever heard of to land a joint venture deal with Clickbank! I remember getting a few bi-weekly paychecks from Clickbank that came with a flyer for CBU. At the time, and even present day, it was and is unheard of for Clickbank to directly recommend or promote a product. There are thousands of products being sold on Clickbank that cover material related to Clickbank and none of them ever scored a similar deal. This just goes to show you how knowledgeable and resourceful Andrew was as a marketer, especially when it comes to the topic of Clickbank.
Sadly, Andrew passed away February 16, 2009 due to a terminal illness at the young age of 53. I’m proud to say I knew Andrew! We met in person at a seminar years ago and he was kind enough to participate in an interview with me where we discussed some of the finer intricacies of selling on Clickbank.
The purpose of posting this mp3 interview in the product creation section of the training grounds is because it’s important to always think ahead. There are many different places to sell your products online and by choosing one in advance you are doing yourself a great service. For example, if you decide to use Clickbank from the onset of your product creation you’ll be able to create your product in compliance with the terms of Clickbank.
