What To Outsource..

[private].[/private]There are several mini-projects or “aspects” involved in any online production of a digital product or website. This section is aimed at exploring the most easily outsourced aspects of a project.

You could easily do much of this work yourself, but in an ongoing effort to save time, money, and sometimes your sanity, these are the aspects of your project that are safest to outsource:

Graphics

Promotional graphics such as banners and even logo design and web graphics

Copywriting

Your sales page is best left to an expert, but this can be an expensive project to outsource. In addition to the sales page, you may also want to consider outsourcing the copywriting of your auto-responder/follow-up messages, squeeze page copy, and promotional language for your one time offers or thank you page ads.

Web Design & Programming Work

Web design and programming involving adding special features to your site or creating software applications are best left to the experts. Unless you are familiar with web design and programming languages, you should consider finding someone reliable to work with on this aspect of your project!

Product Creation Tasks

Writing, software creation, script development (if web scripts will be your product i.e. a shopping cart, an affiliate management script, etc), data entry, etc…

Beginning on the next page, we are going to get knee-deep into each of the “aspects” I mentioned above. Remember, you don’t have to outsource your ENTIRE project to several different contractors. However, outsourcing the tasks that you are unfamiliar with will allow you to concentrate your efforts on the areas you enjoy most!

Outsourcing is what makes it possible for complete newbies to come out of nowhere with a site/product that looks like a million bucks.
