[private].[/private]There are many services out there to help you manage your leads and opt-in list subscribers. As I’ve mentioned numerous times throughout the training area, I only recommend the tools and services I use personally so there is only ONE lead management service that I endorse and that is a service called “AWeber.”
I don’t want to turn this whole section into an Aweber pitch “fest”, but there is really no better lead management service out there. Your mailing list will become one of the most valuable assets of your online business and list management services are the last place you’re going to want to cut costs.
Using AWeber, you can have people signing up for your mailing lists around the clock even while you’re sleeping and AWeber does all the legwork for you.
Organizing your promotions, follow ups, and auto-responders is also a breeze using this service.
I’ve seen a lot of services that try to compete with AWeber, but none of them can even compare. There are also a few server side scripts that can be installed on your website, but there’s so many CAN SPAM laws that you must comply with that I would not recommend these alternatives unless you have a really good lawyer and a really good programmer.
I have read about nightmare after nightmare where people had decent sized lists that became nearly worthless after some cheesy server side script they were using crashed. When you have a list like that, many professional lead management services that are comparable to AWeber will give you a hard time when you try to import the leads.
Your best bet is to use Aweber right from the start. There is even a free 30-day trial so you can take the whole service for a test run.
