Affiliates with their own sites can take these promotional banners and graphics and place them on their own sites in order to attract visitor’s attention and get click-throughs to your offer.
Even affiliates who do not have sites of their own can greatly benefit from having banners to use in their promotions since they will be able to submit the banners as paid advertisements on third party sites, which is a popular strategy many top affiliates choose to implement.

You will want to offer every possible resource to your affiliates so that they can promote your site for you with minimal effort on their own part. Offering high quality banners and graphics is a basic step in piecing together a great affiliate program.
To take matters one step further, do not just provide them with the banners. Offer to host the banners and also provide them with their unique affiliate ID already embedded!
