Does Anybody Really Care?
I just got back from 5 days in Wisconsin with some of my best buddies. We went there with my whole men’s league hockey team to play in the 2009 Labatt Blue Pond Hockey Championships on Dollar Lake at Eagle River, Wisconsin. We got our butts kicked by kids from St. Paul Minnesota who probably play pond hockey every day of their lives.
I learned that playing on a frozen lake is a lot different than what we were used to… a clean sheet of freshly Zamboni’ed ice!
Well, long story short, aside from having a blast… I also made a video update for you since I had no internet access while I was on this trip.
A lot of email inquiries and support desk tickets got much slower replies due to not having any internet while I was on the road.
At the end of the video my buddy Alex says something along the lines of, “and nobody really cares if you’re not checking your email.” I think he might have been wrong about that…
As a reader, subscriber, customer, & friend I think I owe it to you to give you a prompt reply. Wouldn’t you agree?
Most of my buddies from back home have no idea what it is that I actually do with my websites. I try to explain that “I build websites, sell digital products, and do some consulting on ecommerce related topics” and I immediately see their eyes glaze over. This video was interesting because it somewhat combined my two unrelated worlds – hockey buddies + internet marketing friends.
