Developing a website is a lot of work!

Geesh, I’ve been working on this site all day (and night). It is now 7:38AM here in my local time, and I’ve not yet been to bed! I was up working straight through the night configuring the new ProFromGo blog to have the “look and feel” that I’m after, and adding a lot more content to the “PFG Pro” area of the site.

The Pro area covers a lot of interesting topics pertaining to internet marketing. Here’s the rundown of topics covered in the Pro area of the PFG site:

  • Overview (how the site is setup, how to use the site, how to get the most out of the site, etc)
  • Outsourcing (how to be a good project manager versus spreading yourself too thin – like I do! – just kidding Developing a website is a lot of work! I couldn’t resist)

      • List Offers
      • Incentivize
      • Inside The Product
  • Downloads (special downloads to include bonus eBooks, instructional materials, and more for PFG Pro members)
  • Videos (a nice collection of videos presented via our very own ProFromGo Media Player)
  • Daily Journal (this is a great addition to the site that you won’t find anywhere else, PFG Pro members log a daily journal and mentor level members can give feedback and comments on day to day progress to keep members moving in the right direction!)
  • Forums (not just your run of the mill discussion forums – the PFG forums have more customized mods and scripts than you can even imagine with a unique integration into the site itself)
  • Member Profiles (you can create your own in-depth member profile for other members to view – enter a bio, favorite stuff, include your fav YouTube video and more all in your PFG profile!
  • Blog (The PFG Blog is sweet, but if you’re reading it right now you probably already know that Developing a website is a lot of work! )

Well, that’s the rundown of what is included in the PFG Pro area and the content is just about finished. As I mentioned in my last post all of the programming and coding for the project is nearly complete as well. I guess all that’s left to do is go get some sleep – I’m sure I’ll think of about 50 more things that need to be done before I wake up.

I’d like to conclude this blog entry by saying I’m very pleased with the overall progress of the project as a whole. There are a lot of independent aspects of this site that are coming together in an amazing way that gives ProFromGo dot com a whole heck of a lot of character!

That’s it for now… bedtime zzzZZZZzzzZZZZZZ
