December Flew By… Time to get ready for '08
This month was here and gone in less than a blink of an eye. I learned something important this month… the power of simply not letting all the B.S. that goes along with internet business pile up to a point where it affects operational readiness.
I got overwhelmed with J.V. requests, instant messages, email after email, all asking for me to promote this and promote that to a point where it was nearly affecting my own plans and operations. I have had a lot of these marketers promote me in the past and expect that it was guaranteed for a return promotion. I don’t mind promoting other people’s offers whatsoever, the problem occurs when a dozen people launch new products within a few weeks of each other…
To complicate matters, many of the products being launched are all very similar and covering the same old info over and over again.
Needless to say frustration builds, my desk gets messy, and my mind begins to get as cluttered as my desk. So the time came where I had to start back over from scratch, clean slate, and just hit the good ole delete button about 337 times to clear out all the email messages I had flagged for follow up. LOL.
Problem solved.
2008 is going to be a new year with new evolutions in my business, in internet marketing, and in all of our lives. I’m looking forward to what the New Year brings and am taking my time to really develop some insightful and realistic resolutions.
This past month has been one for family, friends, and celebration. The best thing about an internet business is that the best of the best know how to set everything up so that it can run on complete auto-pilot when the need arises. I had the luxury of enjoying the holidays and kind of let things ride on their own for a few weeks on auto-pilot.
Yes, my email marketing and affiliate marketing promo’s did take a bit of a decline, but membership sales and recurring billings carried on as usual without my presence. I can’t tell you the feeling of satisfaction/gratification that occurs when you continue to get instant cell phone notifications every time someone signs up for your site or pays you and you haven’t logged on to your computer in 6 days.
Anyways, now I’m beginning to ramble and it’s time for me to lay my head on it’s pillow for the night. The PFG site is running far behind schedule but I’m not too concerned. The only deadlines I have to meet are my own and the amount of fun I had during the holidays justified any losses accrued during the past few weeks.
Stay tuned for more updates on the development of ProFromGo. The pieces are still falling into place and I foresee the site going live sometime in early ’08… but you never know, I may decide to postpone further or dive into something else…
We’ll see
.
Thanks for reading,
Chris
