JV Alert Day 2 recap… it's been interesting to say the least
Ok in a mad rush to get this blog post typed out on the keypad so I apologize for spelling grammar errors in advance. I have some people waiting for me downstairs…
So I realize I haven’t yet added my videos from the trip but in the first I talk about a tire exploding on a big rig right in front of me on the way here. Making matters worse, the big rig’s tire exploded after he smacked off the wall inside a tunnel just ahead of me. I thought the worst part of the trip was then behind me as I eventually made it here safely last night.
To my surprise the negative highlight of the trip thus far occurred today around 1pm when I start violently hurling out the window of Brian Edmondson’s car on the way to see the Rocky Statue at the Philly musem of art. After being sick my buddy Jason James informed me he was also sick the night prior and we suspect it had something to do with the Mexican style dinner we had at a nearby restaurant called “On The Border.”
Disappointingly, the speaker I was most interested in seeing was Yanik Silver, who presented today at 2pm. Unfortunately I spent 2pm until about 8pm in my hotel room drifting between naps & attempting to keep food down graciously brought by room service lol.
I’m feeling a bit better and hoping the worst has NOW finally passed. I’m headed down to meet a few marketing buddies at the hotel bar but it’s strictly coke & water for this little soldier tonight… I think between the 90+ degree heat today and my projectile vomiting on the Ben Frankling Bridge out of Brian Edmondson’s window might have left me slightly dehydrated & no sense in intensifying the problem with hops & barley.
That’s it for now, I’ll attempt to get those videos up sometime probably after I get home Monday night or Tuesday. The hotel internet connection is pretty slow and I’m not patient enough to sit here and wait for the vids to upload.
Plus, I’m getting acquainted with www.TubeMogul.com and hoping to submit the videos using that tool…
